What we expect from you:

You have been established for at least 2 years, you’re passionate about your business or association and you know what you want;
You conduct business authentically and ethically;
You are “electronic-age” savvy and you’re used to working in a collaborative relationship with a virtual team.

If we’re a good fit for your business, a signed off agreement is required from you before any work commences.

For payment, we prefer PayPal®, Interac E-Transfer® (Canadian clients), Visa®, MasterCard® and American Express®, and we also accept cheque and money order in Canadian funds. Post-dated cheques are not acceptable.

  • Free access to quality resources and affiliates that have been pre-screened. If you need help with something, just ask! We will likely know a good person to help you by direct referral or we can manage the work for you.
  • Free access to our web-based project management portal – upload files, post comments, etc.
  • A one-stop shop for all your administrative support needs;
  • Unlimited access to your team by phone, text, and email;
  • Weekly check-in call with your team member;

If I hire Virtual Works Inc., what are the next steps?

Following receipt of your inquiry, you will meet with Barbara Best, CEO of Virtual Works Inc. by phone or Skype for a consultation, which will include a complete overview of your business or association. The discussion will determine the services and tasks that would best assist you and your business. From there, Barbara will create an agreement for your signature and she will open a client account including credit card authorization form and questionnaire.

Upon receipt of the signed agreement, and you’re ready to get started, we then schedule a “discovery call” with you and key stakeholders and our team. This call is designed to get to the “nuts and bolts” information in order to facilitate handover, brainstorm ideas and start the scheduling process.

Our exceptional services are provided during normal working hours, 9:00am to 4:30pm eastern, Monday through Friday. Canadian and Ontario statutory holidays are non-work days.

Virtual Works was founded in March 2004 as a sole proprietorship and then incorporated on 1 November 2011. Through the years, we have built a solid client base with extended resources and quality affiliate programs and resources available to our clients at no extra cost. We use local talent to provide services and have never outsourced overseas as we believe in supporting our Canadian economy first and foremost.

Throughout our twelve year history, we have gained invaluable experience in many functional areas. Virtual Works Inc. is a privately owned company with its head office located in Ottawa, Ontario. The company is managed by a CEO who oversees a functional support team who work from their respective home offices in the Ottawa/Gatineau region, while adhering to strict operating guidelines. All associates provide services using their own computer equipment/office equipment and have access to a full range of resources subscribed to by Virtual Works Inc.
